What if “God’s Will” is actually to bless you?
For so many of us “let Thy Will be done” means that I will give up what I want and endure the misery of not having.
But what if what God really wants for you is to bless you more than you feel you deserve?
Are you willing to receive those blessings?
No! Really! Think about it. Would you feel comfortable with that level of success? That level of praise? That level of wealth? That level of health? That level of joy?
Can you receive a sincere complement?
or do you dismiss it or push it away?
After receiving a complement could you actually say. “Yes. That is true.”
(Try it. It’s not as easy as it sounds.)
Can you accept an offering of help from a friend?
or do you insist that you can do it on your own – that you don’t need the help – even if you are at the end of your rope?
Is it possible that you are saying “No thank you” to the blessings He wants to bless you with?
Is it possible that you are not yet comfortable with the idea of actually living in those elevated circumstances?
What if His Will actually be to bless you more than you deserve?
Will you Let Him?
